Wrap-Up Final Post
My favorite projects throughout the semester have to be both the Final Video Project as well as the Photoshop project. The first and last of all of our work throughout the semester. I used Photoshop in high school a lot working on my newspaper at school so It was cool to continue to use it as well as learn new skills in a program I find very interesting. The final video project was great because it allowed me to really show off the Music side of my blog with my own band being highlighted as well as some concert footage that I have accumulated which really means a lot to me.
In these projects I obviously learned more about the adobe programs which I may use In a career in communications as well as different ways to share the things I love. This class really did open my eyes to a different avenue of a degree in communication. If I must admit, I think Prof Beam is a really cool guy and hearing his story of how he was in the early stages of a tech revolution in the world of communication is really making me consider a education in Com Tech.
Lots of the time if I had a problem in one of my adobe suites I just googled the problem or how to do something. A simple youtube video showed me how to do what I wanted to accomplish pretty quickly. This is a really cool course and along with teaching me some cool stuff with adobe, it was also a good transition into a fully online course. Since com 210 is a hybrid course I felt more comfortable taking a music class next semester that is all online because I saw how well I worked without classroom instruction on a weekly basis.
