Automobili Photo Collage

Having the blog name “Rock, Rave, Rev.” Has me entitled to communicate a passion for three different aspects of my personal life. Being two-thirds music, Rock and Roll as well as Electronic music will surely be seen more as the blog continues but I wanted to make something that showed off the third piece. Rev. as in the Revving of an engine.
All of the pictures in this collage were taken by me through going out and keeping an eye on roads and parking lots throughout big cities. Some of my favorite car brands made the spotlight as a Porsche 911 Turbo S, a Jaguar XFR, and a Ferrari F40 are displayed.
The Porsche was spotted near my hometown. Being a very sporty car, even in the Porsche family, I was surprised to see it as I walked out of a restaurant. What I did was take an up close picture of the badge, as I did for all three of the cars, and a shot from the front and combined them to make an interesting representation of both company and car.
The Jaguar was especially difficult to crop in Photoshop. The XFR has a lot of chrome pieces which reflected the surrounding Spokane sidewalks and buildings. If you look closely you can see me in the reflection of the jag in the middle. I liked this feature and decided not to mess with it.
Finally the Ferrari was taken in a museum in Tacoma. The famous Ferrari Red color made cutting the background out of the picture somewhat easy. I love how the logo really pops to the black background.
Cars are something that I hold near and dear to my heart. From brand new speeders like the 911 and the classics like the F40. I am excited to be using different platforms of media in the future while staring at something as pretty as a Jag.
